Hello Anantha! It’s great to talk to you today. Can you tell us something about yourself?
--Srinivas Sarakadam -
I started working as a Medical Transcriptionist immediately after my post-graduation. After my marriage, I had to move to another place so I decided to work from home. After the delivery of my firstborn, I quit my job and worked as a freelancer for a few years. Since my family is my priority, I took up tasks that did not disturb my family life.

You’re working as a Medical Transcriptionist & Project Manager. How is this experience?
--Srinivas Sarakadam -
It’s good. At the beginning of my work as a medical transcriptionist, I struggled to understand the accent, but I learnt to manage it with time. Similarly, working on different projects and completing them on time boosted my confidence.

--Srinivas Sarakadam -
Yes, sometimes. But I take short breaks to relieve stress, and focus on some other activities. It refreshes me to continue my work with extra energy.

It is good. I would like to expand it further and make it great.

Any advice for upcoming entrepreneurs?
--Srinivas Sarakadam -
Do not expect success overnight. Also, learn to reach the target accurately. Believing in yourself, taking action at the right time, having a good vision and finding good people will help succeed in your endeavours.

We know you’re passionate about learning new things. What inspires you to keep learning?
--Srinivas Sarakadam -
Learning new things will energize your brain. An active brain keeps your body active. That’s why I like learning new things.
--Anantha Valli -
You’re actively involved in social work as a volunteer. Does it make you happy?
--Srinivas Sarakadam -
Yes, it is real happiness. Generally, we help our family, friends and relatives and receive some or the other benefit from them. But, when we help others who are in no way related to us, especially the underprivileged, we receive their blessings. This doubles our joy and satisfaction.
--Anantha Valli -
What is the most important skill every entrepreneur must possess?
--Srinivas Sarakadam -
It depends on the business you choose. If you choose to sell a product, then you must focus on its quality and you should convey it to your customers. That is, properly reaching the end user is the most important aspect.
--Anantha Valli -
Do you think failure is an important part of success?
--Srinivas Sarakadam -
Yes, of course. However, one must know how to turn failure into success, but one should not make it a habit. Constant failure is not good since it may cause disappointment. Moreover, it can lead to a loss of confidence.
--Anantha Valli -
You inspire several people around you. Who do you seek inspiration from?
--Srinivas Sarakadam -
Many people inspired me. Some of them are Mother Teresa, Swami Vivekananda, Jhansi Ki Rani, etc. Additionally, there were certain instances where I was inspired by my family members in some aspects.
--Anantha Valli -
If you could describe your journey in one word, what would it be?
--Srinivas Sarakadam -
Blessed. Since my childhood, my journey has been blessed. I have a good family, including my parents, in-laws, and husband, who support me in all aspects. Even my children also help and support me in several ways.

What would you like to say to other female entrepreneurs that are building businesses of their own?
--Srinivas Sarakadam -
A strong passion, consistency in utmost pressure, firm decisions, dedication and hard work can help you make your dreams true.
--Anantha Valli -
How would you define success?
--Srinivas Sarakadam -
The definition of success varies with the person and the role they play. Yet, success is not an easy thing. One must achieve it with their effort. It cannot be earned by the mercy of others.
