Inaugurated in 2020, Acasa's offerings are meticulously hand-crafted within their cutting-edge factory sprawling over 25,000 square feet. The facility comprises four primary production divisions: cheese, pasta, sauce, and bakery. Each segment is purposefully tailored to yield an array of distinctive items with utmost efficiency.
For years, Little Italy has been crafting its own cheeses for its restaurants, a tradition that dates back to the early 1990s. However, in response to the escalating demand for gourmet cheeses and the burgeoning consumption of such delicacies, Acasa embarked on an initiative to diversify its product range. This expansion encompasses a wider assortment including Mozzarella, Burrata, Gouda, Goat cheese, Cheddar, Bocconcini, Ricotta, and an array of others.
In addition to their cheese offerings, Acasa takes pride in their pasta line, which produces an array of freshly-made and stuffed pasta variants such as Ravioli, Tortellini, Cappelletti, Lasagne, Gnocchi, and more.
Amrut Mehta, the Managing Director of Little Italy Group, expressed, "The launch of this facility marks a significant stride towards fulfilling our vision of bringing an essence of Italy to the doorsteps of our patrons. We aim to not only offer exceptional value-for-money products but also to share our expertise in preparing Italian cuisine, ultimately fostering a culinary phenomenon in Indian households."
One of the key differentiators of this facility is its housing of specialized Italian machinery that integrates cutting-edge technology. This integration empowers the production of premium quality products while maintaining their innate flavors and prolonging their shelf life, all without the need for preservatives.
