Airtel Business Partners with Sparkle to Enhance India-Italy Connectivity

Airtel Business, the B2B arm of Bharti Airtel, has entered into a strategic agreement with Sparkle, Italy's leading international service provider. This partnership will boost the capacity of the Blue-Raman submarine cable, which connects India and Italy, enhancing data connectivity between the two regions. Through this collaboration, Airtel will expand its undersea cable network to meet the growing demand for data services in India and neighboring countries.

The partnership aims to leverage both companies' extensive cable infrastructures to explore new business opportunities in the Indian subcontinent. Vani Venkatesh, CEO of Airtel Business, expressed enthusiasm for the collaboration, stating it will strengthen global connectivity and address rising customer needs. Enrico Bagnasco, CEO of Sparkle, highlighted that this agreement supports digital growth in the region and reinforces the companies' longstanding relationship.

Airtel Business is known for its robust global submarine cable network and strategic partnerships, serving over 550 million customers with solutions ranging from secure connectivity to cloud services and cybersecurity. This collaboration represents a key milestone in enhancing Asia-Europe connectivity and promoting improved digital services in the region.
