BHEL Teams Up with HIMA West Asia FZE for Rail Signalling

 State-owned engineering firm Bharat Heavy Electricals (BHEL) recently disclosed a significant collaboration. They've partnered with HIMA West Asia FZE, based in Dubai, to delve into the railway signalling business. HIMA holds a prestigious position globally as a leading provider of safety-related automation solutions, particularly in railway and process industries. This alliance marks a strategic move for BHEL, aiming to bolster its presence and offerings within the Indian Railways sector.

According to regulatory filings, BHEL's agreement with HIMA West Asia FZE, a subsidiary of HIMA Paul Hildebrandt GmbH, Germany, focuses specifically on railway signalling. BHEL boasts a history of supplying various railway components to Indian Railways, including locomotives, propulsion systems, and traction transformers. The collaboration with HIMA is anticipated to augment BHEL's capabilities further, potentially introducing advanced signalling solutions to enhance efficiency and safety within India's rail network.
