BMO Introduces Innovative Exchange-Traded Products on Cboe Canada Platform

Cboe Canada, formerly known as the NEO Exchange, is excited to announce the launch of four brand-new Exchange Traded Products (ETPs) courtesy of BMO. These innovative funds, expertly managed by BMO Asset Management Inc. and BMO Investments Inc., are now available for trading on Cboe Canada under the symbols ZEBA, ZUEA, ZOCT, and BGDV.

This collaboration signifies BMO's continued commitment to partnering with Cboe Canada to bring groundbreaking investment opportunities to a broader audience. These ETPs represent a significant stride in financial innovation, democratizing investment strategies that were once reserved for a select few.

Sara Petrcich, Managing Director and Head of Exchange Traded Funds and Structured Solutions at BMO Global Asset Management, expressed enthusiasm about the launch. BMO's new Structured Outcome ETFs encompass Buffers and Accelerators, enabling investors to access the broad equity markets while tailoring their risk-return profiles. Buffer ETFs offer downside protection, while Accelerator ETFs enhance return potential without added risk.

The four new BMO funds are as follows:

BMO Canadian Banks Accelerator ETF (ZEBA):** Designed to generate income and potentially double the price return of an index comprising Canadian bank equity securities. It features a cap that resets quarterly.

BMO US Equity Accelerator Hedged to CAD ETF (ZUEA):** Aims to provide income and potentially double the price return of a large-cap US equity market index. It also has a quarterly reset cap.

BMO US Equity Buffer Hedged to CAD ETF – October (ZOCT):** Seeks to match the income and appreciation of a US equity market index, with protection against the first 15% of market price decreases. Resets annually in October.

BMO Global Dividend Opportunities Fund (BGDV):** Aims to increase long-term investment value by primarily investing in dividend-paying equity securities from around the world.

Investors can access these funds through various channels, including discount brokerage platforms and full-service dealers. Cboe Canada takes pride in facilitating a substantial portion of trading volume in Canadian ETFs and listed companies, fostering financial innovation that benefits all investors.
