Organized by the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation and the Embassy of Romania in Italy, the Italy-Romania Business Forum takes place today at the Farnesina. This event coincides with the Intergovernmental Summit between Italy and Romania and is inaugurated by key figures including the Italian Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Antonio Tajani, along with Luminiţa Odobescu, the Romanian Minister of Foreign Affairs, and Sorin-Mihai Grindeanu, the Romanian Minister of Transport and Infrastructure.
Throughout the forum, representatives from both countries will deliver speeches highlighting their commitment to fostering international cooperation and the advancement of their economic systems. Additionally, Italian and Romanian companies will share their experiences, focusing on key sectors such as energy, agro-industry, ICT/digitalisation, and infrastructures/mechanical engineering.
The overarching goal of the Business Forum is to deepen bilateral economic relations while also emphasizing the importance of developing innovative sectors and emerging technologies. This includes initiatives aimed at facilitating ecological and digital transitions, aligning with contemporary economic trends and environmental imperatives
