Dubai CommerCity, a premier free zone dedicated to digital commerce, has partnered with eBay through a new memorandum of understanding (MoU). This strategic alliance aims to foster business growth for companies within Dubai CommerCity by expanding their reach through eBay’s global e-commerce platform.
The MoU outlines several key benefits for Dubai CommerCity's businesses, including access to eBay’s international marketplaces, specialized training programs, and a complimentary three-month eBay Basic store subscription. These resources are designed to help companies maximize their export opportunities and enhance their global visibility.
In return, Dubai CommerCity will support eBay’s initiatives by encouraging local companies to participate in eBay’s workshops and educational events. The free zone will also provide infrastructure and support for businesses interested in leveraging eBay’s digital platform to establish or grow their presence in Dubai.
The collaboration was formalized during a ceremony at Dubai CommerCity’s headquarters, with significant figures from both organizations present. Abdulrahman Shaheen of Dubai CommerCity and Ashish Chhabra of eBay signed the MoU, highlighting the mutual benefits of this partnership.
This initiative represents a significant step towards enhancing the digital presence of Dubai CommerCity’s companies and offers an exciting opportunity for local businesses to expand their global reach.
