Eagle Hills Signs $3 Billion Tourism Deal with Indonesia

UAE billionaire Mohamed Alabbar's Eagle Hills has signed a $3 billion Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Indonesia to develop tourism infrastructure, including hotels, airports, and tourism destinations. This agreement, signed during President Sheikh Mohamed and Indonesian President Joko Widodo's meeting, aims to enhance Jakarta's Soekarno-Hatta International Airport and other key infrastructure. Indonesian enterprise minister Erick Thohir mentioned that the MoU lasts for a year with the possibility of extension, providing flexibility in implementation.

 

 The deal signifies a significant step in strengthening UAE-Indonesia cooperation and boosting Indonesia's tourism sector. However, specific project details and timelines remain undisclosed.
