Everest Launches New Insurance Business in Italy for Growth

 Everest Insurance has expanded its global footprint by launching its insurance business in Italy, with the new headquarters located in Milan. This move signifies a significant milestone for Everest as it continues to broaden its operations internationally, following recent expansions into countries like Australia, Colombia, and Mexico. The Italian unit will be headed by José Ramón Morales, the head of Southern Europe for Everest Insurance International.

The company offers a wide range of insurance solutions, including property, casualty, financial lines, energy and construction, accident and health, cyber, marine, and aviation. This diverse portfolio aims to address the specific needs of businesses across various sectors.

Véronique Brionne, senior vice president and head of Europe for Everest Insurance International, emphasized the importance of Italy as one of Europe's largest economies, making it a crucial market in Everest's continued European expansion.

Adam Clifford, co-lead of Everest Insurance International, also shared the company’s commitment to delivering tailored risk solutions and excellent service to businesses in the region. He highlighted that Everest’s combination of global strength and local expertise positions the company to effectively address the gaps in the Italian market, providing bespoke solutions and fostering long-term partnerships.

As Everest strengthens its presence in Europe, it continues to offer local expertise backed by global capabilities, making it well-equipped to serve the evolving needs of businesses in Italy and beyond. The launch in Italy is expected to be a key step in the company’s growth strategy as it continues to meet the demands of the insurance market across Europe.
