Gentari partners with Amazon India to deploy 10,000 EVs by 2025

Amazon India has formed a strategic partnership with Gentari to accelerate its electric vehicle (EV) deployment program, aiming to introduce 10,000 EVs for last-mile deliveries by 2025. Gentari Green Mobility will be responsible for procuring and deploying these EVs over the next three years, alongside providing fleet management services to Amazon’s delivery partners to ensure efficient operation and maintenance.

By the end of 2023, Amazon India had already deployed over 7,200 EVs and remains on track to reach its 2025 target. Operating across 400 cities in India, this initiative supports the country's net zero goals. Gentari will also offer a comprehensive suite of services, including an extensive EV charging network, EV subscriptions through Vehicle-as-a-Service (VaaS), and tailored value-added services.

This collaboration is expected to pave the way for a more sustainable future in India’s transportation sector, demonstrating a strong commitment to environmental responsibility and innovation in electric mobility. Both Amazon and Gentari are confident that their combined efforts will significantly contribute to a cleaner, electric-powered future for the country's logistics and transportation industries.
