Getech Secures £500,000 Funding for Growth and Green Energy Expansion

Getech, a Leeds-based firm specializing in finding underground natural resources, has secured £500,000 in funding to drive its growth and enhance its data capabilities. This funding deal, arranged with Reward Finance Group, aims to support Getech's innovative approach to locating metals in unexplored territories. CFO Andrew Darbyshire emphasized that this marks a pivotal stage for Getech as it continues to diversify and explore new market opportunities within green energy. Despite challenging market conditions, Getech remains committed to its core goals of finding vital natural resources for the energy transition. Last month's 2023 results showed a revenue decrease from £5.1m to £4m and operating losses widening from £3.1m to £5.1m, highlighting the need for agile funding solutions.
