KPMG India has formed a strategic partnership with Zscaler, a leading American cloud security firm, to enhance data security for Indian organizations. Announced on August 20, this alliance aims to deliver Zero Trust principle-aligned security services, providing comprehensive protection for endpoints, cloud workloads, identities, and data. The collaboration will streamline cloud security operations by transitioning from outdated legacy systems to modern, cloud-focused Zero Trust solutions.
According to KPMG India’s 2023 India CEO Outlook, 77% of Indian CEOs view generative AI as a tool that could both improve and jeopardize cybersecurity. Many organizations in India are struggling to establish robust defense mechanisms against emerging cyber threats. The KPMG-Zscaler partnership is designed to address these challenges by offering extensive security services tailored to each business’s needs, enhancing both management and visibility.
The alliance will integrate Zscaler's Zero Trust Exchange platform capabilities, including Zscaler Private Access (ZPA), Zscaler Internet Access (ZIA), and Zscaler Data Protection, with KPMG India's leading advisory and digital trust services. This initiative aims to provide a unified solution to mitigate cyber risks and navigate the complexities of digital transformation and compliance, including adherence to India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act.
