ProMach, a global leader in processing and packaging machinery, has announced the acquisition of MBF, a renowned Italian producer of bottle-filling and closing machines. This acquisition enhances ProMach’s capabilities in the bottle-filling sector and represents its second Italian acquisition this year. Founded in 1997 and based in Verona, Italy, MBF is known for its advanced rinsing, filling, and closing technologies, serving the wine and distilled spirits industries with a reputation for innovation and customer relationships.
MBF holds over 20 patents and operates a manufacturing site in Italy, with subsidiaries in the United States, Argentina, and Spain. This strategic acquisition expands ProMach’s global reach and strengthens its position in the spirits market. ProMach President and CEO Mark Anderson expressed excitement about integrating MBF into their portfolio, highlighting the strategic expansion of filling and closing solutions. MBF’s innovative technology and customer relationships will complement ProMach’s existing offerings.
MBF will join ProMach’s Primary Packaging business line, alongside other European brands like P.E. Labellers and Zalkin, enhancing ProMach’s ability to serve European and international customers. Antonio Bertolaso, MBF's Chairman, noted that joining ProMach aligns with their vision of offering comprehensive solutions and long-term customer partnerships.
