Publicis Groupe Partners Dubai Business Women Council Empowering Female Entrepreneurs

21 Nov, 2024

Publicis Groupe Middle East has joined forces with the Dubai Business Women Council to empower female-founded micro, small, and medium-sized businesses. This collaboration highlights a commitment to providing female entrepreneurs with the tools and knowledge necessary to enhance their brands and drive business growth.

The Dubai Business Women Council, established in 2022 by Dr. Raja Easa Al-Gurg, serves as a vital platform for personal and professional development for women in Dubai’s business community. Through this partnership, Publicis Groupe will host a series of workshops focused on brand marketing, communications, and strategic growth.

The inaugural workshop, "The Power of Founder-Led Brands," held on November 14, was led by MSL Group Middle East directors Andira Raslan and Sophia Boudjemaa. They discussed the significance of personal branding, trust-building, customer engagement, and incorporating authenticity into brand identity. Future sessions will delve into topics such as public relations, digital marketing, social media strategies, and innovative approaches to growth.

Bassel Kakish, CEO of Publicis Groupe Middle East and Turkiye, emphasized the transformative power of effective marketing for small business owners. The workshops aim to democratize marketing insights and remove barriers for women entrepreneurs, empowering them to elevate their brands.

The sessions are supported by Publicis Academy, the network’s training and upskilling arm. Insights from a pre-conducted survey of small businesses inform the structure and focus of the workshops. Nadine Halabi, head of business development at the Dubai Business Women Council, highlighted the importance of equipping female entrepreneurs with advanced strategies typically accessible only to larger corporations.

This partnership marks a significant step toward fostering innovation and supporting the growth of women-led businesses in Dubai’s dynamic market.
