SAP has appointed two leaders from SAP Labs India to critical global AI roles, highlighting India's growing influence in the company’s technology strategy. This move aligns with SAP’s plan to double its AI talent base in India by the end of the year. Rahul Lodhe has been appointed as the Global Head of Engineering for SAP Business AI Copilot Joule, where he will drive the integration of Joule across various business lines, set strategic directions, and foster innovation to ensure superior software solutions. With 24 years of experience, Lodhe will shape the product vision and strategy, focusing on Generative AI and aligning with market trends.
Sudhakar Singh, with over 20 years in cybersecurity and 12 years at SAP, is named Chief AI Security Officer. Singh will lead trustworthy AI initiatives, concentrating on cybersecurity, data privacy, AI regulations, and compliance within the SAP Business AI portfolio. He will work with global security teams to ensure adherence to regulations, drive innovation, and maintain high security and privacy standards.
Sindhu Gangadharan, MD of SAP Labs India, praised the appointments, noting that they reflect India’s transformation into a global tech innovation hub and SAP’s commitment to empowering Indian talent on the world stage.
