TVS Motor Company is expanding its global presence by establishing a hub in Dubai to enhance its international business operations. This move aims to strengthen its foothold in key markets across the Middle East, Africa, and Europe. TVS Motor Company Director and CEO KN Radhakrishnan highlighted the company’s commitment to international expansion but did not disclose specific details about the Dubai hub.
The new hub is expected to support various functions such as regional sales, marketing, after-sales service, and parts distribution, making it a strategic center for global operations. In June 2024, TVS Motor incorporated TVS Motor Company DMCC in Dubai to conduct consultancy research and explore business growth opportunities in Middle Eastern and African markets. The company is prioritizing international expansion as a key driver for its future growth.
Last year, TVS Motor entered the European market, starting with France and Italy, through a partnership with retailer Emil Frey. The company now offers its EV and ICE models in Europe, including the Jupiter 125, NTORQ, iQube S, TVS X, Ronin 250, Apache RR 310, and Apache RTR 310. It is also working on a new product lineup for Norton, its UK-based motorcycle brand, with super-premium models expected to launch in 2025-26.
TVS Motor operates in several countries across Asia, Africa, and Latin America, with manufacturing units in India and Indonesia. The Indonesian facility plays a key role in exporting EVs to ASEAN markets. Exports accounted for 25% of the company’s turnover in the last financial year. The company has invested ₹1,400 crore in the first nine months of the current fiscal year and expects to reach ₹1,700 crore by year-end, focusing heavily on product development and global expansion.
