TVS SCS secures Eicher bus facility deal in Baggad expansion

TVS Supply Chain Solutions, a premier provider of integrated supply chain solutions in India, has clinched a new contract from VE Commercial Vehicles (VECV) to oversee in-plant warehousing and logistics at the Eicher bus factory in Baggad, Madhya Pradesh. This collaboration extends their existing partnership, which began in 2006 with VECV's truck plant in Pithampur, Madhya Pradesh. The freshly inked deal spans three years and has contributed significantly to job creation in the region, with over 1,200 positions generated over the past two decades.

K Sukumar, CEO of TVS Supply Chain Solutions India, expressed excitement about the expanded partnership, highlighting their commitment to excellence through technology-driven solutions. He emphasized their dedication to enhancing production efficiency through end-to-end services. The in-plant logistics services encompass seamless inward operations, efficient storage, and precise picking of parts based on production planning controls and bill of materials.
