Taj Hotels, part of Indian Hotels Company (IHCL), has achieved global recognition as the strongest hotel brand, driven by substantial revenue growth. According to the Brand Finance Hotels 50 2024 report, Taj emerged as the world's strongest hotel brand, following Sheraton’s Four Points in growth rate. The brand's value surged to $545 million. Puneet Chhatwal, Managing Director and CEO of IHCL, expressed pride in Taj's accolade, reaffirming its reputation in its 120th year. He credited Taj's enduring legacy, pioneering destinations, and setting benchmarks in global hospitality.
Chhatwal emphasized the brand's commitment to delivering exceptional service, recognized by guests worldwide. Taj achieved an improved Brand Strength Index (BSI) score of 92.9 out of 100, earning an AAA+ rating, the highest accolade from Brand Finance. The report highlighted Taj's significant growth across key metrics like familiarity, consideration, recommendation, and reputation. In the fourth quarter ending March 2024, Taj Hotels reported a robust 29.36% increase in consolidated profit after tax, underscoring its strong performance and enduring appeal in the hospitality industry
