Tenaris Launches $60m Industrial Complex in Abu Dhabi for Adnoc

Tenaris, renowned for its steel pipe manufacturing, has inaugurated a cutting-edge $60 million industrial complex in Abu Dhabi, tailored to meet the unique requirements of Adnoc, thus fortifying the UAE's industrial vision. Etihad Tubulars, sprawling across 200,000 square meters in Abu Dhabi Industrial City, features an advanced industrial training center designed to empower Adnoc engineers, local talents, and partners, enriching their technical expertise and proficiency, as stated in a recent company announcement.

This state-of-the-art facility is poised to generate a plethora of technical and administrative job opportunities for UAE nationals, aligning with Adnoc's commitment to enhancing the nation's industrial landscape. Yaser Al Mazrouei, Adnoc's Executive Director of People, Commercial, and Corporate Support, emphasized the significance of Tenaris's investment, underscoring the concerted efforts to attract global industry leaders for localized production of critical industrial goods.

Abu Dhabi's recent industrial strategy, launched in 2022, aims to significantly elevate the industrial sector's contribution to the economy. With a substantial investment of Dh10 billion across six industrial programs, the emirate targets a remarkable expansion of its manufacturing sector by 2031, projecting a surge in job creation and non-oil exports. The UAE's industrial sector witnessed substantial growth, reaching Dh197 billion in GDP contribution in 2023, achieving significant milestones aligned with Operation 300bn's objectives.

Tenaris's latest endeavor reaffirms its strategic alliance with Adnoc, aligning with the "Make in the Emirates" initiative. The complex boasts a specialized pipe service yard and an advanced oil country tubular goods threading facility, dedicated to ensuring seamless operations and superior service provision to Adnoc and the local energy sector. Paolo Rocca, Tenaris's Chairman and CEO, expressed enthusiasm, emphasizing their commitment to contributing to the UAE's economic aspirations while elevating service standards for Adnoc and the broader energy industry. With a global footprint spanning the Americas, Europe, Middle East, Asia, and Africa, Tenaris continues to play a pivotal role in the oil and gas industry, serving major international clients with its integrated network of manufacturing, research, and service facilities
