The recipients of the Yorkshire Finance Leaders Awards for 2023 have been revealed. 

                                                                                                                     

The Yorkshire Finance Leaders Awards 2023, hosted at the Royal Armouries in Leeds and compered by British sports journalist and former BBC Look North television presenter Tanya Arnold, celebrated excellence in finance within the region. Over 250 attendees gathered to honor exceptional finance professionals contributing to Yorkshire's economic growth.

The winners included Alex Tong from Leeds Bradford Airport, who received the Outstanding Yorkshire Finance Leader of the Year Award, Stacy Hopson from Rosemont Pharmaceuticals, awarded the Future Yorkshire Finance Leader Award, and Morrisons, recognized as the Yorkshire Finance Team of the Year.

The event was sponsored by esteemed global professional services firm Aon, international professional services firm BDO LLP, financial recruitment specialist Marks Sattin, and Lloyds Bank. The evening featured a keynote speech by racing driver Nicolas Hamilton.

Alex Tong of Leeds Bradford Airport expressed his gratitude for the honor, acknowledging the remarkable finance talent in the region. He attributed his success to his dedicated colleagues.

Steve Wilson, business development manager at Aon Leeds, praised the high standards of finance professionals in Yorkshire and congratulated all winners and nominees, recognizing their significant role in guiding companies through unprecedented challenges.
