U-Save Car Rental Expands its Services to Canada

The American car rental franchise brand U-Save Car & Truck Rental, which came under the ownership of Green Motion International in late 2022, has recently broadened its franchise presence into Canada.

On November 6, the company announced the sale of its franchises for Vancouver, British Columbia, and Calgary, Alberta. These franchises were acquired by Brad Elliott, an entrepreneur with experience in both fast-food and car rental businesses, along with his family - wife Heather, son Jeff, and daughter Nicole.

The Elliott family, known for their successful operation of multiple businesses, including the Five Guys fast-food franchise and a thriving local car rental enterprise, decided to partner with U-Save to further expand their franchise business portfolio.

Richard Lowden, President of U-Save International, expressed enthusiasm for this development, stating, "This marks a significant milestone in the growth and progress of U-Save. To have a family with such remarkable experience not only in car rental but also in broader franchising is truly fantastic."

He further commented, "I have no doubt that our partnership with Brad and his family in Calgary and Vancouver is just the beginning of what I believe will be a remarkable journey."

Brad and Heather Elliott shared their excitement about this new venture, stating, "This is a very exciting journey to embark upon for our family and for the future."

U-Save Car & Truck Rental, with its establishment dating back to 1979, now operates in more than 15 countries beyond the United States, utilizing a franchise-only model. On the other hand, Green Motion International, recognized as the world's largest auto rental dedicated franchised organization, operates a network of 650 locations spanning 70 countries across six continents.
