The University of Toronto Press (UTP) has announced a new partnership with Canadian Science Publishing (CSP) to launch a cutting-edge science book publishing program. This collaboration combines UTP's extensive publishing experience with CSP's expertise in scientific publications. The new program will focus on critical scientific areas such as Arctic science, climate change, biodiversity, conservation, and ocean health.

CSP, known for its significant contributions to Canada’s research community, and UTP, recognized for its landmark scholarly publications, will jointly develop a list of science books aimed at addressing pressing scientific questions. The initiative aims to enhance the integrity and impact of vital research and knowledge both in Canada and internationally.

Antonia Pop, Vice President of UTP's Publishing Division, expressed enthusiasm about the partnership, highlighting CSP’s dedication to scientific research and its alignment with UTP’s mission to connect ideas for a better world. Elaine Stott, CEO of CSP, emphasized the exciting potential of the new program to advance scientific understanding and extend the legacies of both organizations. The books will be available to global audiences, fostering greater awareness of critical environmental issues.
