Air France-KLM has partnered with ClarityTTS to enhance the distribution of their New Distribution Capability (NDC) content. This collaboration leverages ClarityTTS’s technology and is powered by Air France-KLM’s NDC API. This move is part of a broader strategy that includes previous agreements with NDC-enabled global distribution systems like Amadeus, Travelport, and Sabre. With this new NDC connection, Air France and KLM’s content is now available through 20 NDC aggregators, expanding their reach and accessibility.
The airlines have also established a direct NDC connection with Spotnana. The NDC platform provides a range of benefits, including access to the airlines’ best offers, continuous pricing, dynamically priced seat options, and bundled services, all designed to enhance the booking experience.
Additionally, travelers booking through NDC will avoid the forthcoming global distribution system surcharge on EDIFACT-based bookings, which has recently risen to €24 per one-way ticket, up from the previous €21. This initiative represents a significant step in Air France-KLM’s ongoing efforts to offer more personalized and cost-effective travel options to their customers.
