The U.S.-Saudi Business Council, established over 30 years ago as part of a bilateral government initiative, aims to strengthen business ties between companies, investors, and agencies from both countries. With Charles at the helm, the Council is set to play a more significant role in supporting Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030, an ambitious plan for economic diversification and growth.
Tom Thraya, Chair of Mayer Brown’s Middle East Practice, expressed confidence in Charles’ leadership, noting that Saudi Arabia remains a top strategic priority for the firm. Charles’ experience and dedication are expected to enhance the U.S.-Saudi business relationship and advance the Council’s mission during this critical period of transformation for the Kingdom.
