Forvia and BYD Extend Asian Partnership to Europe

Forvia, the world’s seventh-largest car parts supplier, will expand its partnership with Chinese battery specialist and car maker BYD to Europe. The collaboration will be based at BYD’s new factory in Hungary, building on their successful partnership in Asia. Forvia CEO Patrick Koller expressed confidence that this expansion will drive innovation and growth in the European market. This move comes as car parts makers like Forvia seek to capitalize on the global spread of Chinese carmakers and their challenge to established rivals.
