Infinite Orbits has secured a major multi-million Euro tender with CNES as part of the French government’s France 2030 initiative. The company will partner with Aldoria, a leader in space situational awareness (SSA), to provide advanced tracking and monitoring services for two key missions. The first mission, set to launch in Q4 2024, involves Infinite Orbits’ Endurance spacecraft extending the life of a commercial satellite by five years. The second mission will see their Orbit Guard #3 spacecraft inspect the defunct EUMETSAT Meteosat 8 satellite, showcasing cutting-edge solutions for satellite maintenance and end-of-life disposal.
Aldoria’s role will be critical to the success of both missions, providing continuous geostationary orbit (GEO) monitoring and precise tumbling analysis to ensure safe docking and minimize risks. Their SSA services enhance real-time insights during high-stakes phases, such as rendezvous proximity operations. The partnership also addresses growing concerns over space security, with Aldoria safeguarding missions against potential malicious actions through its independent data solutions.
This collaboration not only strengthens France’s space innovation but also supports national security and economic interests in an increasingly competitive space domain.
