Sanofi to Invest ₹3,600 Crore in Expanding Hyderabad Hub

French pharmaceutical giant Sanofi has announced a significant investment of ₹3,600 crore over the next six years to expand its global capability centre (GCC) in Hyderabad. This strategic move aims to double the current headcount from 1,300 to 2,600 employees by 2025, positioning the Hyderabad GCC as Sanofi's largest hub worldwide.

The expansion is expected to significantly enhance the support provided to Sanofi's global operations, covering various domains such as commercial, manufacturing, supply chain, research and development (R&D), and digitalisation. By bringing more outsourced functions in-house, Sanofi aims to streamline its processes and increase operational efficiency.

Sanofi's decision to invest heavily in Hyderabad underscores the city's growing importance as a global hub for pharmaceutical and biotech industries. The expanded GCC will play a crucial role in driving innovation and supporting Sanofi's global mission to improve health and well-being.
