The United States and India reaffirmed their commitment to strengthening the Comprehensive Global Strategic Partnership during high-level discussions in Washington, DC. The External Affairs Minister of India attended the US Presidential inauguration on January 20, 2025, as the Prime Minister’s Special Envoy. Bilateral talks covered key areas, including security, defence cooperation, technology, energy, education, and legal mobility. While no formal agreements were signed, both sides emphasized deepening collaboration in critical and emerging technologies to enhance economic growth and regional stability.
