Coca-Cola Bottlers Japan Inc., a subsidiary of Coca-Cola Bottlers Japan Holdings, is partnering with Accenture to establish a joint venture scheduled to launch in January 2024. This collaboration is aimed at propelling Coca-Cola Bottlers Japan Group towards becoming a data-centric entity, streamlining administrative functions, and optimizing back-office operations.
The joint venture's primary objective is to enhance the operational efficiency of Coca-Cola Bottlers Japan Group, enabling it to emerge as a cost-effective and highly profitable World-Class Bottler. Integral to this partnership is Accenture's contribution of localized business process managed services, facilitating seamless operations.
Within the scope of this endeavor, various functions within the Information Technology (I.T.) division, along with those pertaining to human resources, finance, general affairs, procurement, customer service, and sales support, currently managed by Coca-Cola Bottlers Japan and Coca-Cola Bottlers Japan Business Services, will be transitioned to the newly formed joint venture.
This strategic partnership will amalgamate administrative, back-office, and support services, while empowering Coca-Cola Bottlers Japan Group with advanced technology for data capture, analysis, and utilization crucial for the beverage business. This data-driven approach will empower the organization to gain invaluable insights, make informed decisions, identify future growth opportunities, and elevate the quality of its offerings.
Accenture's involvement will not only provide access to specialized expertise and industry talent but will also leverage cutting-edge automation platforms to facilitate Coca-Cola Bottlers Japan Group's continuous enterprise reinvention, leveraging its extensive domestic presence.
