Indo-Japan Partnership: JNARDDC, Daiki Aluminium Sign Recycling MoU

India’s Jawaharlal Nehru Aluminium Research Development and Design Centre (JNARDDC) and Japan’s Daiki Aluminium Industry Company Limited have formalized a strategic collaboration through a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signed in Osaka. This partnership aims to enhance the Indo-Japanese economic relationship and advance sustainable aluminium production. The MoU was signed by Goto Kazushi, Senior Managing Director of Daiki Aluminium, and Dr. Anupam Agnihotri, Director of JNARDDC, with other key figures from both organizations in attendance.

The collaboration is set to establish a new recycling unit at JNARDDC’s Nagpur facility, marking a significant step towards innovative approaches in aluminium recycling. This initiative not only supports JNARDDC’s sustainability goals but also leverages Daiki Aluminium’s advanced technology and extensive experience in the recycling industry. With over a century of focus on aluminium recycling, Daiki Aluminium’s contribution is expected to significantly enhance JNARDDC’s efforts in promoting environmental sustainability.

The partnership reflects a deepened economic bond between India and Japan, combining JNARDDC's research strengths with Daiki Aluminium's technological expertise. Goto Kazushi emphasized that the MoU will help JNARDDC achieve its sustainability objectives and strengthen their global partnership.
