The Vietnam-Japan Business Day, scheduled for November 2, has been proposed by the Vietnam Business Association in Japan (VJBA). The event aims to facilitate economic and trade exchanges, experience sharing, and networking between Vietnam and Japan.
Unveiled during the VJBA congress on August 29, the plan marks the association's assessment of its accomplishments in the 2021-2023 term and the introduction of its executive board for the forthcoming 2023-2025 tenure.
Anticipated to attract high-profile figures including leaders from both nations, economists, as well as executives from prominent Vietnamese and Japanese corporations, the Vietnam-Japan Business Day underscores VJBA's persistent commitment to fostering connections within the Vietnamese business community in Japan.
Even amid the challenges posed by the COVID-19 pandemic over the past three years, VJBA's role in linking Vietnamese entrepreneurs in Japan has remained robust. The association has not only facilitated meetings and exchanges between businesses of the two countries but also provided support in navigating investment processes and participating in trade and export promotion endeavors.
Tống Thị Kim Giao, the newly-elected President of VJBA, envisions enhanced collaboration with the respective governments and pertinent agencies of Vietnam and Japan. This collaborative approach aims to cultivate a sustainable business environment while expanding the association's presence within Japan and across the globe.
Originating in September 2013, VJBA operates as a non-profit entity, serving as the representative body for Vietnamese enterprises in Japan and facilitating meaningful interactions between businesses from both nations.
