Sairee Chahal, Founder of Mahila Money, in partnership with TRTL Ventures, has launched a new initiative to enhance Japanese investment in Indian startups. This initiative aimed to strengthen business and startup investment cooperation between Japan and India.
The event hosted a delegation from Japan, including notable figures such as Hideyuki Hongo from Startia Holdings Inc., Yasuyuki Aisu from SegueGroup Co. Ltd., and others. This gathering saw enthusiastic participation from top business owners, founders, CXOs, investors, and ecosystem leaders from both countries. It marked a significant step in boosting bilateral trade and investment.
The Japanese delegation also visited the Japanese Embassy in Delhi, where Ambassador Hiroshi Suzuki expressed strong support for their entry into the Indian market. The delegation affirmed their commitment to long-term business development in India and continued investments through TRTL's VC fund.
Sairee Chahal emphasized the immense potential of India-Japan collaboration for driving innovation and economic growth. The event included sessions at Paytm's office and a networking evening, providing opportunities for influential figures in the India-Japan business landscape to connect.
