Beijing Hosts Nepal-China Business Summit

 

The Nepal-China Business Summit took place in Beijing on a Sunday, attracting approximately 200 business representatives from both nations. The primary focus of the summit was to explore fresh avenues for practical economic and trade collaboration. Nepal's Prime Minister, Pushpa Kamal Dahal Prachanda, expressed a strong commitment to enticing Chinese investors to explore opportunities in Nepal and expand their businesses. He emphasized the unique advantages Nepal offers for such endeavors.

Furthermore, Prime Minister Prachanda expressed his anticipation of bolstering exchanges and cooperation between Nepal and China. His goal was to achieve mutual benefits and foster win-win outcomes for both nations. In response, Zhang Shaogang, Vice Chairman of the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade, extended their willingness to create additional trade promotion platforms.

The council also pledged to organize more economic and trade delegations to visit Nepal, facilitating increased bilateral trade. Additionally, they promised to support Chinese enterprises in importing specialty products from Nepal, thereby enhancing trade ties. Furthermore, the council committed to supporting capable Chinese businesses in investing and operating in Nepal, contributing significantly to Nepal's accelerated industrialization.

The Nepal-China Business Summit held in Beijing recently gathered around 200 business representatives from both nations, aiming to explore new avenues for practical economic and trade cooperation.
