DMCC strengthens UAE-China business ties with key Beijing partnerships

28 Feb, 2025

DMCC has signed strategic partnerships with Beijing Innovation Service Hub and Beijing Chaoyang Council for the Promotion of International Trade to enhance bilateral trade and business connectivity between the UAE and China. These agreements were announced during DMCC’s first Made For Trade Live roadshow of 2025, held in Beijing and Shenzhen. The partnerships aim to facilitate trade promotion, investment opportunities, and strategic business matchmaking, strengthening commercial ties between Dubai and Beijing. With a 17.5% year-on-year growth in Chinese companies, DMCC is approaching the milestone of 1,000 Chinese firms operating in its business district.

Through these collaborations, DMCC will work closely with Beijing Innovation Service Hub and Beijing Chaoyang to host business seminars, investment roadshows, and networking events. The partnerships will promote cross-border collaboration, digital trade, and blockchain technology, ensuring secure and seamless transactions between businesses in Dubai and China. Companies from both regions will gain access to new investment leads, expanded market opportunities, and streamlined business setup solutions within DMCC and its Chinese counterparts.

Ahmed Bin Sulayem, Executive Chairman and CEO of DMCC, emphasized DMCC’s role as a key gateway for Chinese businesses in Dubai. The growing Chinese business community highlights the appeal of DMCC’s tailored services, world-class office space, and specialized ecosystems for physical commodities and emerging technologies like AI and Web3. These new partnerships will further strengthen commercial ties and create new business opportunities for Chinese enterprises.

DMCC’s roadshows in Beijing and Shenzhen, organized with Yingtian Global, showcased Dubai’s attractiveness as a global business hub. With over 950 Chinese companies already established in DMCC, the district represents more than 15% of the Chinese business presence in the UAE. The Made For Trade Live event series continues to promote Dubai as a premier business destination, reinforcing DMCC’s role as a major economic driver and contributor to foreign direct investment.
