ForFarmers, Team Agrar Partner in German Feed Business Expansion

ForFarmers and team agrar, a division of the DLG Group, have agreed to merge their feed operations in Germany, forming a new joint venture named ForFarmers team agrar. This move combines their comprehensive feed portfolios and is contingent upon regulatory approval.

Previously collaborating through the HaBeMa venture, the expanded joint venture is a logical progression. ForFarmers, a major European feed solutions provider, and team agrar, involved in feed production and agricultural services, will now operate under a 50/50 joint venture structure. The new entity will integrate their feed activities, including eight production sites and three terminals, and manage a combined workforce of approximately 380 employees.

The joint venture excludes specific brands and activities related to ForFarmers and DLG Group’s non-feed operations. It will be managed by representatives from ForFarmers, team SE, and HaBeMa, with Ernst Friedlaender serving as Managing Director. The venture aims to enhance market reach, improve efficiency, and leverage shared expertise in procurement, formulation, and innovation.

Both companies see this partnership as a strategic move to strengthen their market presence in Germany and improve their service offerings. The venture is expected to deliver significant benefits to their customers and contribute to sustainable growth.
