HireRight Bolsters Its Presence in Latin America with the Launch of a Brazilian Entity

HireRight Holdings Corporation (NYSE: HRT), a leading provider of global background screening services and workforce solutions, is excited to announce a significant milestone in its regional expansion strategy with the launch of its operational entity in Brazil. This strategic move is aimed at enhancing its support for customers hiring in Brazil and throughout Latin America.

Brazil, with its population of 214 million people, the largest economy in Latin America, and a thriving hub of startups in HireRight's core technology vertical, presents tremendous potential for growth in employment screening. HireRight's new office is strategically located in the financial district of São Paulo, a decision-making hub for many businesses in Latin America where 60 percent of Fortune 100 companies have a local presence.

The expansion into Brazil follows the launch of HireRight's Mexico subsidiary in 2021 and the acquisition of Inquiro Vitae in Argentina earlier this year. These strategic moves enable HireRight to extend its employment screening services beyond multinational corporations to local small- and medium-sized businesses in the region, catering to their specific needs and requirements.

Guy Abramo, President and CEO of HireRight, expressed his enthusiasm for this expansion, stating, "We are thrilled to grow our Latin America footprint into Brazil to better serve our customers operating in this important market. We recognize the value of local expertise when conducting employment screening and believe that our presence in São Paulo will help differentiate us from other global screening providers and pave the way for new business opportunities."

With its new operating entity in Brazil, HireRight aims to provide faster data to customers screening in Brazil through direct connections to local sources. It will also offer local fulfillment of verifications and customer support in Portuguese, ensuring accurate and efficient screening processes. Furthermore, HireRight can invoice its customers in the local currency – the real (BRL) – providing a significant advantage to global customers with a presence in Brazil.

This expansion positions HireRight to strengthen its market position in Latin America, delivering exceptional local support and fostering mutually beneficial partnerships across the region.

HireRight is a leading global provider of technology-driven workforce risk management and compliance solutions. They offer comprehensive background screening, verification, identification, monitoring, and drug and health screening services to approximately 37,000 customers worldwide. HireRight's unified global software and data platform integrates seamlessly into customers' human capital management systems, streamlining workforce hiring, onboarding, and monitoring processes. In 2022, they screened over 24 million job applicants, employees, and contractors, processing over 107 million screens for their customers.
