India is set to host two significant delegations from MERCOSUR and Brazil, strengthening economic and trade relations. A 15-member MERCOSUR delegation will visit India from October 31st, engaging with key Indian organizations like CII, Amul, and IFFCO to explore agricultural collaborations and cooperative sector synergies. This visit is expected to enhance India’s trade relations with South American nations by leveraging MERCOSUR's extensive experience in the cooperatives sector.
From November 13th to 15th, the Governor of Mato Grosso, Brazil, will lead a 65-member business delegation to India, participating in discussions with Indian entities like CII, Invest India, and EEPC. This visit, including participation in the India International Trade Fair 2023, offers opportunities to explore agricultural trade, exchange technological know-how, and strengthen agribusiness cooperation.
Additionally, Brazil’s Agriculture Minister will visit India to participate in World Food India, engaging in high-level discussions with Indian ministers on sustainable agriculture, food security, and agri-food sector development. These visits underscore the commitment of India and Brazil to foster trade relations, exchange innovations, and address global food challenges, paving the way for stronger partnerships in agriculture and trade.
