NSG BioLabs Partners with Merck Singapore for BSL2 Co-Working Space

NSG BioLabs, a major Singapore provider of biotech co-working lab and office space, has partnered with Merck Singapore to enhance support for biotech start-ups. This collaboration will grant NSG BioLabs' tenants access to Merck's extensive resources, expertise, and state-of-the-art equipment, fostering growth in research and development.

NSG BioLabs offers Biosafety Level 2 (BSL2) certified laboratory spaces designed for molecular, cellular, and microbiological research. The facilities include fully equipped labs with HEPA-filtered HVAC systems, dedicated rooms for tissue culture, and various amenities for laboratory and office needs.

The new partnership will facilitate opportunities for funding, partnerships, and commercialization by connecting biotech start-ups with Merck's scientists, engineers, and advanced technologies. This aligns with NSG BioLabs’ mission to support innovators in health, biomedical, agrifood, and industrial biotechnology sectors, including areas such as precision medicine, AI-enabled drug discovery, and synthetic biology.

With the largest biotech co-working lab footprint in Singapore, NSG BioLabs has supported over 40 companies, including multi-billion-dollar multinationals and promising start-ups that have collectively raised nearly US$400 million in funding. This collaboration underscores Merck Singapore's commitment to advancing the biotech community across Asia Pacific.
