Artificial intelligence (AI) sentiment in Singapore remains highly positive, according to Autodesk’s 2025 State of Design & Make report. The survey highlights that Singaporean business leaders across the Design and Make industries view AI as a critical driver of digital transformation, competitiveness, and innovation. Despite global economic uncertainties, businesses in Singapore are leveraging AI to enhance creativity, automate resource-intensive tasks, and make data-driven design decisions.
The report reveals that 74% of Singapore business leaders believe AI will enhance their industry, surpassing the Asia Pacific (APAC) average of 68%. Additionally, 69% feel AI will make their sectors more creative, while 75% expect their AI investments to rise, indicating strong confidence in AI’s ability to deliver value. In fact, AI was ranked the top investment priority by 72% of Singapore respondents.
Haresh Khoobchandani, VP of APAC & Japan at Autodesk, notes that rising business costs and economic pressures are driving companies to embrace digital technologies like AI to eliminate inefficiencies and pursue sustainable growth. The Singapore government’s continued support, such as the S$150 million Enterprise Compute Initiative, is further accelerating AI adoption among local enterprises.
Trust in AI remains strong, with 68% of Singapore business leaders expressing trust in AI technologies and 76% confident their organizations will make the right AI-related decisions. However, leaders are also aware of the disruptive nature of AI, with 54% acknowledging that it could destabilize traditional industry practices, requiring new skills and ways of working.
As Singapore companies increasingly prioritize AI integration, they are positioning themselves at the forefront of digital transformation, reinforcing the nation’s role as a regional leader in innovation and technological advancement.
