New Zealand Prime Minister Visits Singapore with Business Delegation

The upcoming visit of New Zealand's Prime Minister, Christopher Luxon, marks a significant step towards fostering new partnerships and revitalizing existing ones in Southeast Asia. Scheduled from 14 to 19 April, Luxon's inaugural international mission in the region aims to strengthen ties with key partners, including Singapore, Thailand, and the Philippines. Accompanied by a delegation representing strategically important businesses, Luxon seeks to showcase New Zealand's connections and expertise across various industry sectors. 

 

Among the participating companies are Air New Zealand, Fonterra, and Massey University, highlighting the diverse range of products and services New Zealand has to offer. This mission presents abundant opportunities for collaboration and partnership within Southeast Asia, with delegates actively engaging in forging new connections and reinforcing existing ones. Luxon expressed enthusiasm about leading the delegation, emphasizing the commitment to enhancing bilateral relations and leveraging the dynamic nature of New Zealand's business landscape. The visit underscores the mutual interest in deepening economic ties and fostering meaningful exchanges between New Zealand and its Southeast Asian counterparts.
