Recharge Capital, a prominent $6 billion thematic-first private investment firm, has appointed Margaret Wang as Managing Partner, with a focus on leading its Women’s Health Strategy. In her new role, Wang will oversee the firm's operations in the APAC region, with a particular emphasis on the Singapore office.
Margaret Wang brings extensive experience in senior leadership roles at global asset management and financial services companies. Before joining Recharge Capital, she served as the Executive Director and Head of Bridgewater Associates Singapore. Prior to that, she held positions as the Director of Strategic Initiatives at Paxos, a blockchain infrastructure provider, and as the Head of Product Partnerships at Squarespace (NYSE: SQSP), where she led partnerships across payment, content, and business management with prominent companies such as Apple, Google, Facebook, PayPal, Chownow, Acuity Scheduling, and Zola. Wang began her career in strategy and business development at Merrill Lynch and Goldman Sachs.

In her role at Recharge Capital, Wang will assume a vital leadership position in the firm's thematic strategies, including Rhea Holdings Co., a $200 million women’s healthcare-focused investment vehicle launched in June 2023. This innovative investment vehicle employs a unique private equity structure, leveraging cross-asset class strategies to drive transformative growth in the women’s healthcare industry.
