Sri Lanka-Singapore Business Council hosts its 27th Annual General Meeting

The 27th Annual General Meeting of the Sri Lanka–Singapore Business Council (SLSBC) of the Ceylon Chamber of Commerce took place on July 30th at Hilton Colombo Residence. Shiluka Goonawardena was re-elected as President for the 2024-2025 term, with Tilak Gunawardena, Nirupa Peiris, and Indhra Kaushal Rajapaksa re-elected as Vice Presidents. The Council also welcomed new companies to its Committee for the upcoming year. 

Goonawardena expressed gratitude for the continued trust and highlighted the Council's accomplishments, including trade delegations to Singapore and programs on sustainability. He emphasized plans for future trade initiatives and collaborations with the High Commission in Singapore. The event featured a keynote presentation by Dhananath Fernando, CEO of Advocata Institute, providing insights into current economic trends.

The AGM concluded with optimism and a shared commitment to strengthening Sri Lanka-Singapore ties, focusing on enhancing trade relationships and delivering valuable opportunities to its members.
