Sydney Hosts Second International Supply Chain Expo in Australia-China Forum

On April 15th, Sydney welcomed significant event during the visit of a Chinese business delegation Ren Hongbin, Chairman of China Council for the Promotion of International Trade ("CCPIT"). The occasion marked the convening of the Australia-China Business Forum alongside the Australian roadshow for the Second China International Supply Chain Promotion Expo. Attended by over 200 representatives from both Chinese and Australian business communities, this gathering aimed to fortify trade relations between the two nations.

During the roadshow, China International Exhibition Center Group Corporation inked Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) agreements with DMG, Oz-Town, Team Global Express, and Homart Pharmaceuticals, showcasing a commitment to deepen collaboration across various sectors.

The Forum and roadshow acted as catalysts for enhancing cooperation and identifying new prospects, particularly within Smart Vehicle, Green Agriculture, Clean Energy, Digital Technology, Healthy Life, and Supply Chain Services sectors. Scheduled for November 26th to 30th, 2024 in Beijing, the Expo promises to spotlight global manufacturing advancements through thematic forums and investment promotion activities.

This promotional event in Sydney saw the announcement of key partnerships, indicating a keen interest from Australian enterprises in expanding their networks. Beyond being an exhibition space, the Expo aims to be a hub for industry leaders to discuss global supply chain trends, offering thematic forums, investment pitches, supply-demand matchmaking, and product launches.
