Tata Communications and Singapore Airlines Limited (SIA) have officially entered into a multi-year agreement, effective from November 7, with the objective of revolutionizing airline communications and collaboration tools. The primary focus of this collaboration is to significantly enhance employee productivity and improve the overall user experience, as outlined in an exchange filing.
This latest initiative, delivered on Tata Communications' GlobalRapide platform, is designed to empower SIA users to remain globally connected. The partnership aims to leverage advanced technology to streamline communication and ensure seamless connectivity for SIA employees across the globe.
Amitabh Sarkar, Vice President & Head of Asia Pacific and Japan – Enterprise, expressed the company's pride in its enduring relationship with Singapore Airlines. As a global player in communication technology (CommTech), Tata Communications is honored to be selected as SIA's partner in their journey toward achieving greater strength and setting new benchmarks in customer experiences.
It's worth noting that Tata Communications has been collaborating closely with SIA for the past five years. In addition, Tata Communications IZOTM SDWAN plays a crucial role in enabling SIA with customer call routing to their customer service centers worldwide. This streamlined process enhances customer support and ensures a seamless experience for travelers.
Furthermore, SIA's pilot and cabin crew collaboration platforms operate on Tata Communications' MOVE solution. MOVE facilitates the rapid and secure exchange of critical flight and passenger data on pilots and crew tablets. This innovation not only improves on-time performance but also helps contain costs compared to traditional data roaming solutions.
This strategic collaboration between Tata Communications and Singapore Airlines underscores the commitment to employing advanced technologies to enhance employee productivity, streamline communication, and elevate the overall user experience in the aviation industry. The partnership is expected to bring further improvements in the services provided by Singapore Airlines and set new standards in the airline industry.
