Vodafone Business Hiring Spree Aims to Boost Growth in Germany

Vodafone Business is expanding its workforce in Germany by adding 120 new roles to drive growth in new products and managed services. This move is part of a strategic effort to support corporate digital transformation with a focus on cloud, cybersecurity, productivity, and IoT offerings, alongside fixed and mobile connectivity for corporate customers.

The new hires will join the existing 1,300 Vodafone Business employees in Germany, contributing to a broader Group plan to create 400 sales roles across various markets. The initiative, supported by a €250 million investment, aims to enhance Vodafone’s B2B service portfolio and improve customer awareness.

Vodafone also announced that Hagen Rickmann, former Managing Director at Telekom Deutschland, will join as MD of corporate customer business in Germany from March 2025. This recruitment drive aligns with Vodafone’s Spark growth programme, which seeks to bolster the operator’s presence in the B2B sector and stimulate service revenue growth.

Despite recent declines in business service revenue in Germany, Vodafone is confident that these strategic hires and investments will drive future growth and improve overall performance. The initiative reflects Vodafone’s commitment to strengthening its market position and supporting corporate customers in their digital transformation journeys.
