emnify Transforms IoT in Brazil with Nationwide Single SIM Coverage

emnify has launched a pioneering solution for IoT connectivity in Brazil, offering full national coverage through a single SIM card with local IMSIs and numbering. This innovation is made possible through a partnership with Claro, a leading telecommunications provider in Brazil, and the approval of Roaming ORPAs by ANATEL, Brazil’s National Telecommunications Agency.

The new service from emnify guarantees uninterrupted mobile connectivity for all IoT and M2M devices across Brazil, regardless of their location. This significant development comes as emnify solidifies its position in Brazil as a Mobile Virtual Network Operator (MVNO) with a strong local presence, including the manufacturing of SIM cards in collaboration with Idemia.

With emnify’s SuperNetwork, businesses in Brazil can access over 540 networks in 180 countries using a single SIM card, breaking geographical barriers. This solution provides consistent, high-quality service, robust APIs, and simplified management, ensuring increased stability and cost-effectiveness for various industries.

Carlos Campos, VP Sales LATAM & General Manager Brazil at emnify, highlights the milestone this launch represents in revolutionizing IoT connectivity in Brazil. The new product offers improved operational efficiency and supports innovation, greatly benefiting industries reliant on IoT technology.
