New figures indicate an increase in insolvencies in Canada

According to newly released data, more Canadians are declaring bankruptcy as the burden of rising prices on households grows.
In the third quarter of this year compared to the same period last year, consumer insolvency filings increased by 22.5%, according to data made public by the Office of the Superintendent of Bankruptcy Canada.
25,809 consumers in total filed for bankruptcy, up 2.3% over the previous three months.
